ROUND 7 CARDS:
NBL Round 7 Hilites - Christian D’Angelo - Melbourne United
First impression. Christian D’Angelo opened his NBL scoring account in style during Melbourne United’s Round 7 win over New Zealand. The development player made the most of his opportunity, going 2/2 from the field, including a half-court buzzer-beater to cap a night he’ll never forget.
NBL Round 7 Hilites Milestones - Rio Bruton - Brisbane Bullets
Family business. The Bruton name has been part of Brisbane Bullets history for nearly 50 years, and now Rio has added his own chapter. The 19-year-old made his NBL debut in Round 7, scoring his first bucket in the process. The son of NBL champion CJ Bruton and grandson of league legend Cal Bruton, Rio became the NBL’s first third-generation player.
